Air filter was found to be dirty and clogged with particles. The air filter prevents any insects, dust, particles, sand or debris reaching the engine and ensures a good mixture of air and fuel to support performance. The dirty air filter restricts the air supply to the engine which could cause unburned fuel to form a soot residue that accumulates on the spark plug. This fouls the spark plug(s) and decreases their ability to deliver the spark needed for the combustion process.
